Please me ,
I use Smarty in Windows NT Hosting.
I use smarty on linux server all the time and i have no problems


here is the error code :

How you defined directories for smarty?
That is a problem.

I also use ACL (access controll level) in Hosting Controller Pannel
to set
templates_c WRITE for everyone

I suppose

define('CHACHE', ...

should be

define('CACHE', ...

I haven't looked the documentation, but it sounds as a mistype.
