Hello,
I am sorry if this is appropriate but does anyone know php based, open source solution that would enable me to put a system handling inventory (books, booklets). I work for a charity and we are archiving our old products by making a digital archive. So far we have been doing it in Excel but I would really like to move it to a relational database (like mysql). Have been googling around for solution but without much luck. Anyway, it does not have to be an inventory project. Even a modular system that would allow me to design and generate php files, would be really, really ful. Sorry if this is wrong group to be asking such a question. Thank you in advance for any pointers! Zbigniew Szalbot |

"Inventory" will probably not get you what you are looking for easily, are you wanting an inventory that: a) is of products you sell or distribute and need to restock regularly (product inventory) b) are items you wish to keep track of for record keeping/fiscal purposes (fixed assets) or c) items you wish to categorize index, search and possibly loan out (library) Using the right term will you find the right program. Of you search for PHP GPL and one of those terms you probably will have more luck than asking here. There are open source programs for all of those. |
