I use Linux here, too, and ColorZilla has worked fine for me for
months. (Mandriva 2006.0 Community, Firefox 2.0.0.4, ColorZilla 1.0)

My vote, too, for http://www.iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/.

Strange. I'm on an Mdv system here too - running cooker but it could be
that I'm running 32 bit FF on 64 bit system. I never bothered looking
into it in too much depth - lazy!

Sorry, I did not ask clear!

I need a color picker within my php web page. The user should be able to
pick a color, which is then entered into a form field. All Java color
picker I found do nothing under Firefox and also says so, that they only
work with Internet Explorer.
