Hello,
I am about to start looking into server 2008 deployment.... will be adding 2008 images into an existing image deployment system (MDT + WDS) and I first want to find out about automation options for adding features and/or roles to a base 2008 installation... eg. I would like to add an option to my existing system where the user can check off various boxes, like IIS, to include those components in the deployment. could somone point me in the right direction? or give some examples or experiences of their own on this? random thoughts/questions on the subject: 1. do component options need to go in sysprep answer file, or could they be added via script after image deployment? 2. can do with vbscript/wsh? 3. can do with powershell? |
