Hi,

Is it possible to remotely and silently install the File Server Resource
Manager on 2003 R2? I have approximately 200 servers of which 150+ were not
built with R2 slipstreamed in, and we now need to enable FSRM as we have an
issue with users storing iTunes on their server. I think I can package up the
R2 install on SMS relatively easily, but I cannot seem to get the component
installed.

Can it be done with sysocmgr? I've had a go but it seems to install
everything EXCEPT FSRM!!

Seems to me that the SRM component (sysocmgr.exe) will do what you want.

That's just it - I've tried sysocmgr but it seems to install everything
(including the MMC snap in for FSRM) except the FSRM component itself.

So sysocmgr.exe isn't working unless I'm doing something wrong!

Hi, I have the same problem. sysocmgr doesn´t work very well? How did you
solved the problem?
