I'm testing Windows Server 2008 standard in a room without wired Ethernet.
I installed a LinkSys USB Wireless-G device (WUSB54CG) using the latest Vista drivers. The install appears to have worked, except for the fact I can't enable the wireless adapter. When I attempt to enable the wireless adapter, a pop-up shows the status change from disabled to enabled, but the adapter never actually gets enabled. I looked at the local ploicies and firewall to see if wireless is prohibited in Server 2008, but I didn't find anything relevent. Does anyone have any idea on how to get this adapter enabled? - Michael Faklis <Michael_Faklis@EvolSwSys.net> |

Hello Michael,
Will be a driver problem. You have to find a driver for 2008, even if it looks that it is installed.
