I run Virtual Server 2005 SP1 on Win2k3 EE R2 SP2, joined to a W2K3 domain.
If I log into the server hosting VS2005 by RDP using a domain account that belongs to the local administrators group, I cannot load up the local Virtual Server admin webpage. Instead, I get "HTTP 500 internal server error". If I RDP to the same server (using the same credentials) but hit the console session (mstsc /console), the IIS site works normally. I found another user with this issue through a search, but no resolution was listed. http://blogs.technet.com/seanearp/ar...500-error.aspx Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to resolve this? Thanks, Greg |

I have some problem with you.
Found resolution from http://www.aspdeveloper.net/Virtual_...elsewhere.aspx 1/ Put the VS Admin website into Trusted Sites (IE) 2/ Set the VS Admin website to use Basic Authentication only (IIS) Regards, Sammy "GregB" <GregB@discussions.microsoft.com> ¼¶¼g©ó¶l¥ó·s»D:21EF5E8B-9D86-4B26-9801-94569EFBB25F@microsoft.com... >I run Virtual Server 2005 SP1 on Win2k3 EE R2 SP2, joined to a W2K3 domain. > > If I log into the server hosting VS2005 by RDP using a domain account that > belongs to the local administrators group, I cannot load up the local > Virtual > Server admin webpage.
