Hi,
Here's what I'm doing: Host OS = Windows XP SP2 in a workgroup; Guest OS = Server 2003 SP2 SQL Server 2005 VHD prebuilt MS image. I installed the latest MS Virtual Server. I installed IIS and WWW service. When I click the Admin website shortcut I receive a window to log in. I log in with my local admin account but it does not work.I added the website as a trusted site but that didn't work either. What else can I do. I need this to work for testing this week! Thanks TKE402 |

Try VMRC Plus
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en). It provides a Virtual Server management GUI without needing the Administration Web site. -- Bruce Sanderson http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question. That's a useful app. Is there a way of getting it to open multiple hosts on startup? When I right-click one and set it to open it unsets the other. |

the other is just along a ribbon under the icons... not sure about
'opening' en mass at startup though... Nice VMRC did it. Now how about the admin password for the preconfigured
Microsoft SQL 2005 VHD. I was able to start it but now I can't log in! As I recall, most of the Microsoft test/eval systems use: P@ssw0rd
So I always try that as a first guess.
