I have 20GB Hard drive with 256 MB RAM and Windows 2003 server is installed
on it with free space of 10GB. I downloaded Virtual Server 2005 R2 with SP1 and saved it on my desktop. When I tried to run, I get the message image file is valid for a machine type other than the current machine. Can someone me with this? Why I am getting this error? |

What OS is running on the host? Which version if Virtual Server did you
download? If you are running a 32-bit OS on the host, you need the 32-bit version of Virtual Server (and 64-bit for a 64-bit OS). And with only 256 MB of RAM there's really no point even installing either VPC or VS as you won't be able to run any virtual machines. -- Paul Adare MVP - Virtual Machines http://www.identit.ca Any nitwit can understand computers.
