Hello Fritz,
Yes, it is possible to run Windows Server 2008 x86 inside of a VM of Virtual Server. I recommend to install the latest VM Addition inside of the VM. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards - Alexander Ortha (Microsoft) This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. You don't need Virtual Server, you could use VMWare or Virtual PC for example but you'll need some kind of virtualization software installed. -- Paul Adare MVP - Virtual Machines http://www.identit.ca On line: A statement shouted at tennis judges in response to serves being called out. |

As far as I can see he is asking the following, but in difficult to read words): host: Windows 2003 server 32 bit virtualization: Virtual Server 2005 installed on Win2003 guest: Windows server 2008 question: Is this possible? It really depends on if Win 2008 has a 32 bit version or not (which I don't know). Only 32 bit guests are allowed in Virtual Server 2005. Bo Berglund |
