I'm trying to use VSMT to peform a P2V conversion on a Win2000 server, but
I'm failing with a RAMDISK error. I've done some research and found a few
people with a similar issue, including having found the following KB article:

I tried the procedures in that article, but it didn't work. I got both
Hotfixes, but they wouldn't install because they said my current OS files are
more current (perhaps those Hotfixes were rolled into a later update?) I
also got the .sys and .inf files for my NIC driver, and restarting the
adsbuilder service did create a PNF file. I don't know what other drivers it
should need, since there's no RAID on the machine I'm targeting.

Any suggestions? Some solutions I read about included fixing 'problems' in
the INF file, but I'm not sure how to spot a 'problem' there or how to fix
