Hi all,
I have two host machine running Windows 2003 Standard Edition R2 + Windows Virtual Server 2005 Enterprise Edition SP1. On both the virtual environment I've built some virtual machine and from within theese two Windows 2003 Web Edition (one for each host); here is some questions: 1) Can I assign a physical NIC to a virtual machine? 2) Can I implement NLB between the two virtual W2k3 Web? |

1) Yes, you must assign physical NICs to the virtual machines if you want
them to have any connectivity with the network. 2) Yes, you can also implement NLB on virtual machines. Check this post: http://blogs.msdn.com/virtual_pc_guy...21/556222.aspx Here's some basic concepts about NLB: http://www.west-wind.com/presentatio...indows2003.asp Hope it s Cheers! -- augusto alvarez | it pro | southworks http://staff.southworks.net/aalvarez "Andrea Caldarone" <andrea.caldarone@poste.it> wrote in message news:0DEB14EF-E470-4476-9BE3-D2BA0A1DB278@microsoft.com... > Hi all, > > I have two host machine running Windows 2003 Standard Edition R2 + Windows > Virtual Server 2005 Enterprise Edition SP1.
