Hi There, I have just installed Vista Business on my Toshiba Tecra A6 (Core
Duo) and connected it to our SBS 2003 network. Then i installed Virtual Server 2005 R2. For some reason i have lost internet connectivity. I can still connect to our SBS server and ping other computers on the network as well as the router (seperate router - only 1 nic card in the server), but traffic will not get outside the network. If i disable the Virtual Machine Network Services on the nic card in the laptop, then it works again - but then no networking in the virtual machines. I have searched and searched, but only come up with guest OS issues rather than host issues. I have no idea where to start here so any assistance would be greatly apprectiated. Thanks Simon |

The device manager says that the driver is from Intel and dated 14/01/2008. Vista reports it as an "Intel PRO/1000 PL Network Connection", but the Toshiba spec for the laptop says that its a "Intel® LAN 10/100/1000 TX Ethernet". Hmm... Any issues here? THanks Simon |

Hey Simon,
The best I could find was: http://connect.microsoft.com/wf/feed...dbackID=307204 Which kinda describes your situation, however with Virtual PC. It states: Fixed, however I am not able to track anything on that... |
