Hi Guys,
I don't know it is right place that I can post this topic about how to install MS virtual server 2005. But it is related to cluster. I want to install cluster in my desktop for testing and learning. The host operation system is windows xp pro. I ran the MS virtual server 2005, it is pretty straightforward, but I couldn't logon to Virtual Server Administration Web site, no matter I use administration user. Becasue this is my personal computer, so I have administration permission, but I still cannot logon to. Was I wrong in somewhere. Can somebody me to fix it? Thanks. |

Without the web components administration can be done using the Microsoft VMRCplus application instead and this totally bypasses the web interface. If I were you I'd uninstall VS2005 and then reinstall making sure to disable the installation of the web interface. Then I'd install VMRCplus and use that to manage the server. Bo Berglund |

Thank you very much. I reinstall it following your way, but I still got an
error when I ran VWRCPlus. I didn't install the web interface and then I install VWRCPlus. The error I got is: The application failed to initialize properly(0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application. DO you know what is the meaning of this error? Thanks. Hi,
I found the answer. When I install virtual server 2005 and VWRCPlus in computer that the cpu is AMD, it didn't work and got an error that I depicted in previous post. But it is worked when I installed them in Intel based computer. Is that not worked in AMD computer? Thanks. "Iter" wrote: > Thank you very much.
