I have Virtual Server 2005 R2 running on a Windows Server 2003 (STD).
Everything is fully update with respect to Microsoft. The server is
also an Exchange server, SQL 2005 server, and a domain controller.

For a while now I have had a single virtual machine (XP) running and
every couple of days it would have a fatal error (see below) and
crash. When I bring the VM back up it no longer has a connection to
the network. Even if I shutdown the VMs and restart the Virtual Server
services. I end up having to disconnect and re-connect the virtual
network adapter for the VM for it to work again.

I thought it may be related to something in the VM OS so I created a
new one from scratch. Unfortunately after running for a day both of
them crashed at the same time and both of them can no longer see the
network. This tells me it is something to do with the Virtual Server
itself.

I did get an error this time that one of them is complaining that its
MAC address is already in use.

I also get this error every time the virtual server restarts:

"An error has occured during the creation of Service Connection points
for Virtual Server in Active Directory. Either a domain controller is
not available to complete the operation or there is a security problem
accessing the domain. This operation will be retried the next time the
service starts. Error 0x80070005 - Access is denied."
