mouse is not working properly

Hi...it looks like the mouse is not working properly in a guest
machine which is a Windows 2008 RC1 VM within a Virtual Server 2005 R2
host server.

However, any other Windows 2003 guest machines are working fine in
this virtual server.

Anything needs to change when setup a Windows 2008 server in a Virtual
Server?

Install the VM Additions on the guest.
