Hi,
We installed sql 2005 64-bit enterprise on intel quad-core xeons with win2k3 Std 64-bit. When I checked the properties of the SQL server, it showed the platform as NT AMD64. Have we done something wrong or is that normal. Will it affect the the server in any way and how can we change that property. Thank you Regards, Francis |

As x64 processor architecture first developed by AMD, that's why it shows
like that and there's nothing wrong with that (technically at least) and there's nothing to change. -- Ekrem Önsoy "newsmsn.com.au" <francisloh@people.net.au> wrote in message news:ufiNspEtIHA.672@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Hi, > We installed sql 2005 64-bit enterprise on intel quad-core xeons with > win2k3 Std 64-bit.
