Par défaut Multiple SQL Server Versions on Same Machine

Hi,

I have a number of questions regarding SQL Server and Visual Studio. I'm
running Vista Ultimate SP1 and have Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate installed.
I also already have all versions of .Net Framework from 1.0 thru 3.5
installed.

1. Is it ok to install SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 on the same
machine? I assume the order would be 2000 then 2005.

2. Is that also ok considering that I already have Microsoft SQL Server
Compact Edition v3.1 installed on the Vista Ultimate SP1 machine.

3. I also need to install Visual Studio 2005 and 2008, and potentially even
2003.
What is the proper sequence for installing VS and SQL Server?

Thanks in advance for your .

Consider installing older products before newer ones. Because old ones won't
know the newer ones but the newer ones are aware about the old ones.

Installing SQL Server 2000 with 2005 is OK. Compact Edition is independent
from SQL Server 2005.

Thank you, Ekrem. That's exactly what I was hoping for.
