You can use the following command line options:
osql -L isql -L SQLPing from http://www.sqlsecurity.com/Tools/Fre...5/Default.aspx Some articles on DMO, SMO, OLEDB, etc. http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=45 http://sqldev.net/misc/OleDbEnum.htm http://sqldev.net/misc/EnumSQLSvr.htm http://sqldev.net/misc/ListSQLSvr.htm http://blogs.msdn.com/sushilc/archiv...14/242395.aspx Note that no method is perfect, for example with sql browser not running (or with the service explicitly configured not to broadcast) you may not see all of the servers in your network.
