Does anyone know if Microsoft has a document that outlines what Service
Packs, Patches, and critical updates need to be installed, and most importantly, in what order to ensure SQL Server 2005 is fully installed per Microsoft specification to ensure a stable environment? -- REO21 |

Hi,
Lastest released official Service Pack for SQL Server 2005 is Service Pack 2 and it's the only recommended SP to install now. If you have specific problems, then you can take a look at the Cumulative Updates. There is a list of all updates of SQL Server here in this blog (There was a web page of MS about the very same list but I don't have that link now): http://sqlserverbuilds.blogspot.com/ -- Ekrem Önsoy "REO21" <reo21@discussions@microsoft.com> wrote in message news:486E6A4D-8DEB-4B5B-ADEC-CB686424E6AC@microsoft.com... > Does anyone know if Microsoft has a document that outlines what Service > Packs, Patches, and critical updates need to be installed, and most > importantly, in what order to ensure SQL Server 2005 is fully installed > per > Microsoft specification to ensure a stable environment? > -- > REO21 |
