When install SQL 2005, by default, the system will generate
MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data folder. is there anyone know how to make it like D:\MSSQL\data. -- Golden_au |

Hello!
You can change your installation folder from the Features Selection window in SQL Server Setup. When you get that Features Selection window, I suggest you to click button and see the details. \Program Files\SQL Server\... folder will still be created even if you change your Installation Folder. There are some files that must be installed to this folder.
