I want to install the sql server 2000 in the window server 2003 which
have installed the service pack 1.

While I run the setup of the sql server 2000, the problem happened
after the Authentication Mode page. The setup quit itself. It does not
go to the Start Copying Files page.
The sql server cannot install. I don't know why it quit the setup
itself.

Is there anything need to be installed before installing the sql
server??

Is there anyone can me?

Is there any error message you get? If not, did you take a look at the Event
Logs?

Is there a log file SQL created related to this issue?
