I understand TS is not supported by SQL 2005 in any type of clustering. But
can SQL 2005 be installed on a TS (it is in application mode) as a single TS and single instance of SQL 2005 (no clustering of either)? TIA jwkh |

It's possible, but *not* recommended, for both security and
performance reasons. __________________________________________________ _______ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?andraA==?= <jwkh@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 28 jul 2007 in microsoft.public.sqlserver.setup: > I understand TS is not supported by SQL 2005 in any type of > clustering. I fully understand the issues involved, just need to know if SQL 2005 can be
installed on a TS. Thanks very much for your response. jwkh "Vera Noest" wrote: > It's possible, but *not* recommended, for both security and > performance reasons. > > __________________________________________________ _______ > Vera Noest > MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server > TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net > ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ > > =?Utf-8?B?andraA==?= <jwkh@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 28 > jul 2007 in microsoft.public.sqlserver.setup: > > > I understand TS is not supported by SQL 2005 in any type of > > clustering.
