Hi,

How do I get the Database Engine Tuning Advisor? In screenshots and
articles which describe it, it is shown as a link under the start menu
under a folder called Performance Tools, but I do not have this folder.
I've tried reinstalling SQL Server client tools on my machine but I
can't see an option to add this tool. Is it only available on specific
editions of SQL Server?

Hi Nick

What edition are you using?
DTA is not available when using SQL Server Express.

I had installed the tools from the Workgroup edition CD by mistake. I've
now reinstalled from the Developer edition (from MSDN) and I've found
all the tools.
