Hi Peter ... thanks for this, but it does not appear to be what I am looking
for, unless I am missing something. This link refers me to a standard support page, and when I click support for SQL Server it directs me to a page where my choices are to pay $99 for email support, $249 for phone support or refers me to the newsgroups/tech communities for free. I chose the tech communities because it makes no sense to pay $$ to find out where to pay more $$ ![]() All I need is the entry for Malaysia. I guess that since it appears to be a simple data issue I could create a record with any information, as long as it has the Malaysia keywords, but I do not know what the keywords are. ... please, anyone?? -- Brad Ashforth ""Peter YangMSFT]"" wrote: > Hello Brad, > > You may want to contact local MS support for further assistance on this > type of questions > > http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx > > If you have further concerns, please feel free to let's know. Dear Brad,
Our MSDN Managed Newsgroup support service doesn't support non-English or localization issues, that's why Peter initially suggested you to contact your local support. As an MSDN Subscriber, you are entitled to receive up to four support incidents depending on your subscription level. Thanks for your understanding. Regards, Walter Wang (wawang@online.microsoft.com, remove 'online.') Hi Walter ... thank you for your reply. My problem is that my "local" support
would be English, as we are located in Bellevue, WA (USA). The client is located in Malaysia and our "technical" liason is in India (the group in India also does not have any entry for Malaysia). When I tried to contact my "local" support they wanted to charge me $99 just to find out who to talk to .... paying $$ just to find out where to spend more $$ on the localization data just seems plain wrong. At this point I guess our only option is to contact the client and ask them what entries they have. If you have any other ideas/suggestions please let me know as we are running out of time. -- Brad Ashforth "Walter Wang [MSFT]" wrote: > Dear Brad, > > Our MSDN Managed Newsgroup support service doesn't support non-English or > localization issues, that's why Peter initially suggested you to contact > your local support. > > As an MSDN Subscriber, you are entitled to receive up to four support > incidents depending on your subscription level. > > Thanks for your understanding. > > > Regards, > Walter Wang (wawang@online.microsoft.com, remove 'online.') > Microsoft Online Community Support > > ================================================== > When responding to posts, please "Reply to Group" via your newsreader so > that others may learn and benefit from your issue. > ================================================== > > This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. > > |
