Par défaut Install sqlexpress from command line with localsystem account

Hi

I'm making a installer for SQL Server Express 2005 sp2, from command line
and I need that sqlBrowserAccount and sqlAccount run with the LocalSystem
account.
How can I specify that? There is any diference if I use more than one
product language (for example Windows XP spanish or english version)?

TIA

Rodrigo Juarez

Hi Rodrigo,
I understand that you would like to know how to specify LocalSystem account
for SQLBROWSERACCOUNT and SQLACCOUNT in your SQL Server 2005 Express SP2
setup process from command line.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

You can specify "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" for SQLBROWSERACCOUNT and SQLACCOUNT
since LocalSystem is the built-in account "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM".
I performed a test with a setup.ini file and it worked fine.
1. Create a setup.ini file with the following content:
[Options]
USERNAME=Charles
COMPANYNAME=Microsoft
ADDLOCAL=ALL
SQLACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM"
SQLBROWSERACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM"
SQLBROWSERAUTOSTART=1

2. Run the command from command line:
SQLEXPR.EXE /settings C:\setup.ini /qb

For more information, please refer to:
How to: Install SQL Server 2005 from the Command Prompt

Hope this s. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel
free to let me know.
Have a nice day!

Best regards,
Charles Wang
