Not sure if this is the right group.



I'm trying to use a Notify Operator Task connected to a Backup Database
Task.

The backup part works fine but the notify task does not.

I have configured the Database Mail which tests out fine.

Any Thoughts?

Did you go into the job and select to notify on completion, failure,
something else?

Also, what spk are you on and did you recycle the sql agent during any of
this?
