"SQL Server Database Services" option grayed out when installing SQL Server Standard Edition on Server 2003 Web Edition
I'm trying to install SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition on Server 2003 Web
Edition. All the installation options are disabled except the workstation components (the last check box). For example,. I'm not allowed to install the key "SQL Server Database Services". Any ideas why it's not letting me install the package? |

Because Server 2003 Web Edition is not a supported OS for SQL 2005
