I am trying to install SQL 2005 standard edition. I get stuck when it asks
for an account to start the services with. For testing purposes I have
selected the domain adminstrator account and it still does not work. It
gives me error 29063 and tells me the password etc could be wrong. I know
it is definately not wrong. Does anyone know what else I can try? I
definately want to use a domain user account.

to troubleshoot the problem more efficiently, could you please provide the
following information?

Questions:
1. What services did you want to start as you described in your post?
2. Please check the error message you sent to us and make sure it's correct.

I suggest that you should check the domain account first, the domain name
should not be the full name. They should sign like "my-domain-name"

Please send us a screenshot in your next new post if convenience.
