Hi all,

When i install sql server 2005 standart edition on vista, the pc is
restarting immedietly. I was not be able to install it.

Check if this s:

Server 2005 or SQL Server 2005 with Service Pack 2 on a Windows

I tried to install sql server 2005 without any service pack on vista.
I still get the same error. When the error has occured, a message box
appeared immedietly that says something. It is impossible to read
message, however i got the one word is RPC. After splashing error with
massage box, the system is restarting. How can i install sql server
2005 on vista ? I tried everything but I haven't got any knowledge to
fix it. Someone advised me install sql server 2005 service pack 2. But
how can i install it before sql serve 2005 installation ?

Have you checked the installation log file?
Any errors there?
