Hi,
I had a standalone Win 2003 server on which I installed SQL Server 2005. I
then decided to promote it to be a domain controller for a different
development. Now, my SQL Server instance does not start. MSFT documentation
states that promoting a machine using dcpromo may cause SQL Server not to
function.

That is fine. I am not even able to uninstall it. I am logged in as
Administrator on the machine.

Any ideas on how to uninstall is appreciated.

Fixed it by removing the registry entries under setup. there is a ms support
article on it.
