Are there any known issues in having IIS and SQL Server on the same computer?

There is no problem in having IIS and SQL Server on the same computer.
Anyway, you should monitor the amount of memory that each one needs to avoid
memory excessive congestion. It will depend on the web application(s) you
want to run on the same server.
