Hi,
I wanted to configure Windows application log alert, when a Microsoft SQL Server database goes offline. Could any one have idea what’s best way to achieve it? Thanks a lot in advance. Regards, Nandan |

There is nothing built-in that you can just enable. Either you use a 3-rd
party monitoring tool, or you can set up a job to query the state of the databases at an interval and raise an error to the log if a database is offline.
