I am working on a presentation for the SSWUG SQL Server Confernce and I
noticed something in my Server Properties as I was checking on a version. SQL Server says my Lap Top (my presentation machine that I run demos on) says that I have 4 Gigs of memory on the machine. But when I go to the system properties and look at the General Tab, I confirm that I only have 1 gig of memory on this laptop. Any Ideas? |

Hi Chris!
Can you elaborate on exactly where you were getting this information from? And, as usual, please provide version information! -- HTH Kalen Delaney, SQL Server MVP www.InsideSQLServer.com www.SQLTuners.com "Chris Shaw" <Chris_Shaw@SQLPASS.org> wrote in message news:FF52AE1D-49CA-400A-92B5-AF06D6651DBA@microsoft.com... >I am working on a presentation for the SSWUG SQL Server Confernce and I > noticed something in my Server Properties as I was checking on a version. > > SQL Server says my Lap Top (my presentation machine that I run demos on) > says that I have 4 Gigs of memory on the machine. Hi Kalen,
Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I just figured out what I did. This was my lack of paying attention. I think I am going to have to uninstall 2k5 and stop trying to run these side
by side.
