Hi
My SQL server crushed and I found in event view the following information. SQL Server has encountered 3 occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the 'SQL Plans' cachestore (part of plan cache) due to some database maintenance or reconfigure operations. or SQL Server has encountered 3 occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the 'Bound Trees' cachestore (part of plan cache) due to some database maintenance or reconfigure operations. or SQL Server has encountered 3 occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the 'Object Plans' cachestore (part of plan cache) due to some database maintenance or reconfigure operations. |

How big is your SQL Server memory? Is it 64 bit?

I am not sure the crash was due to the messages. They can appear for various
reasons and are not necessarily a problem. I would look to see what other events may be in the logs. Have a look here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/917828 -- Andrew J. I backup a database in SQL2000 and restore it to SQL2005.
the application runs correctly in SQL 2000, but it runs uncorrectly in SQL 2005. when the application hangs , the cache flush information is shown in event views. "Andrew J. There are lots of things that can be causing this. Is the 2005 instance on
another server or the same one? How much memory do you have devoted to the 2005 instance? Did you run sp_updatestats on the 2005 db after you restored it? -- Andrew J. The 2005 instance is on another server.and the SQL server is 1G ram.
I haven't run sp_updatestats . Due to urgent situation, I have restore the database to another SQL 2000 instance. The application runs correctly now. "Andrew J.
