SQL 2008 Linked Server Issue
Here is an e-mail a colleague of mine sent me, so I am forwarding it on to see if anyone can offer up some suggestions.
Thank-you, Rubens We reinstalled the Test Cluster (again). We have partially succeeded in creating linked servers and executing linked server queries. Here are the results... seems that there must be some setting missing regarding remote connections... (the linked server security has RPC ,RPCOut, DataAccess all set to TRUE) MSDTC(clustered and local) all allow remote cnx and remote administration. Does anyone have any ideas??
