Hi,
Im in the process or setting up an active /passive cluster on SQL 2005 standrad. Do i need to use AD or can i setup my SQL servers without it ? Both are sharing a DB. Windows 2003 enterprise. Thanks Scott |

Technically, you don't need AD for a cluster as you cna always have the nodes
form a domain all by themselves. But if you already have an AD, there is no reason you should build a cluster wihtout using that AD (unless of course the cluster is in DMZ or for some special reason).
