Hi,
What is the maximum memory limit for SQL2000 SP4 (32-bit) running on Win2003 Standard Server (64-bit)? I take it that we cannot enable AWE since the OS is 64 bit. Thanks, Jay |

You can enable AWE providing you are on Enterprise edition. Just do the
other stuff too like /PAE, lock pages in memory and max server memory. The x64 OS just gives each SQL instance 4GB of VAS with is nice. -- Jason Massie http://statisticsio.com http://twitter.com/statisticsio http://feeds.feedburner.com/statisticsio "Jay S." <JayS@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CB36D85D-E68B-49E8-BB2A-9DCEF15879AC@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > What is the maximum memory limit for SQL2000 SP4 (32-bit) running on > Win2003 > Standard Server (64-bit)?
