I have SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 on my development machine. I used to use
Enterprise Manager to work with 2000 databases. Now I have Management Studio which can connect to 2005 servers as well as to 2000 servers. If I open any object (table, SP...) in 2000 database via Management Studio, modify it and save, will it be still accessible via Enterprise Manger? For instance if I open Crystal report created in 8.5 version via 11.5 version, modify and save it, the report becomes inaccessible via 8.5 version. Does something similar happen to SQL Server? Thank you vovan |

If you edit a SQL 2000 object from SSMS 2005, it will still be
accessible and updateable from Enterprise Manager. The objects will still be SQL 2000 objects when the editing is competed. |
