We've got a Primary and Secondary Server (as a standby currently in Read
Only mode ) on a Log Shipping set up. For the last week the TRN files have been backed up and moved across to the Secondary Server - but I've discovered they haven't been restoring. In other words , I have a bunch of TRN files sitting in a folder and that need to be restored. 1)Is it possible to catch up , while the servers remain in their existing modes? -- Jack Vamvas ___________________________________ Search IT jobs from multiple sources- http://www.ITjobfeed.com |

Is it SQL Server 2005? How do you set up Log Shipping?
Don't you have a job that does restore on the Standay Server? Hi
It's SQL2000 . There is a job that Restores but constantly breaks- the issue I've got is it hasn't restored to the Standy By Server for a week. The TRN files have been copied , but not restored. -- Jack Vamvas ___________________________________ Search IT jobs from multiple sources- http://www.ITjobfeed.com "Uri Dimant" <urid@iscar.co.il> wrote in message news:eulB%23EGzIHA.2340@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Is it SQL Server 2005? What is the error? Have you specified an Output file for the job? What does it say?
