When I log in this error message comes straight after saying:
Error parsing C:WINDOWS\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\
config\machine.config
Parser returned error0x80070570

and then this yellow box comes up saying:
sqlsac.exe-corrupt file, corrupt and unreadable and it tells me to check
Chkdsk utility
I guess the error comes from this SQL Server Configuration Manager(2005)
I've been looking around but I haven't been able to fix it- and I cannot
download or and update my pc. Can someone tell me how to deal with this?fix
it or...something.

I would reinstall that version of the .NET framework. The error is pretty clear, a file herein is
not readable. My guess is that easiest way to get a good file is to reinstall the framework.
