hello:
i dont expect an answer since NT is so out of date, but i will ask any way. I have a member server that logs in to the domain successfully, but after a few hours it no longer appears in the domain name list. When u try to see the network neighborhood from the missing server it just hangs, and when u see the network from another computer the missing server is not found until it is re-booted and the whole process starts again. any suggestions??? thx. in advance |

The problem is most likely the NT member server itself.
Did you happen to check the event log on the member server for any errors? i am sure the member server is the problem.. when i try to access the event
log the message "RPC SERVER IS TOO BUSY".. comes up. This is an entirely new issue. Okay so you know the RPC service is failing. Go into the
control panel and open the services applet. Next look for the RPC service. Stop it and restart then post the error.
