Hello ,

We have a requirement of Moving Users from One windows Nt domain to another
WIndows Nt Domain . . Can Somebody Please advise How do we go about it ?
Few queries which I might have are :

How to Migrate Passwords ?
What about User Profiles ?
How to Migrate Groups and Group Membership ?

Will removing and rejoining the Servers to new DOmain would Suffice ?

A third party utility called NTACCOUNTS will migrate the user information
with the
passwords or you could use an NT resource kit utility called "addusers.exe".
It will
export the names but not the passwords but you can add the passwords during
the
import process.

You will have to migrate the profiles.

There are a number of third party utilities for migrating
NT to NT. Do a search on the inet and you will find
many.

No, because of a unique SID or security id which is domain specific.
You could use a third party utilities to do this as well. Have a look at
NewSIDS..

What Happens if we have Configured Home Directory and Roaming Profile Will
that be taken care by AddUser.exe
