Par défaut DNS Problem with 2003 , time out

we have two LAN networks: LAN1 , LAN2

the computers that making use of the LAN1 Network , taking advantage of
remote desktop service.

in the LAN2 we have one DNS SERVER that works upon the win 2003

to stablish connection between these two LANs we use a router

in the LAN1 if the DNS server is not Configured , our clients can easily
connect to remote desktop service.

but if the DNS SERVER is configured on the LAN1 Network clients nic, some of
clients that want to connect to remote desktop service consequently
confronting with request time out message.

whereas if our operating system was win 2000 server(DNS Server) , we solve
this problem or if DNS not configure in LAN1 clients or if manipulate Hosts
File in clients

Hello erkin,

Please describe more details about the setup. How many servers and what kind
of are in LAN1 and LAN2? What do you mean with takinb advantage of RDP in
LAN1? Is there a terminal server where users work? Also post an unedited
ipconfig /all from the servers in the different LANs and one client from
the different LANs.

Best regards
