I have two separate domains that are connected via a trust. One is runing
Server 2003 and the other Server 2000. I have setup a Stub zone in the Server
2003 DNS to recoginze the resources on the 2000 domain. How do I setup the
DNS for
the 2000 domain to achieve what the stub zone does in 2003?

any reason you don't want to simply create the secondary zone pointing to
the primary hosted on the Windows Server 2003 DNS?

server only and not replicating the entire DNS...

Windows 2000 DNS does not support Stub zones or conditional forwarding, you
have to use a Secondary zone on the Win2k DNS.
