Every few days several of our Windows 2003 DNS servers get the following
error and has to be rebooted to fix it. Event ID: 111 - The DNS server could not create a thread. System may be out of resources. You might close applications not in use, restart the DNS server or reboot your computer. The event data is the error code. What could be causing this error and how can I resolve it? I do not get notified when this occurs. Users just call in to say they have lost access to DNS queries. |

Thanks Kevin - I read through this but we do not use WINS on our DNS servers.
I made sure that NetBios over TCP/IP was checked. Any other Ideas? "Kevin D.
