We are now bringing in users from home using Windows Server 2003 VPN
connection. I know, I should switch to a hardware solution but for now, the budget doesn't call for it. So the problem I am having is that whenever a user connects to the server it is issued an IP Address from DHCP. That all works fine, but it creates another entry in DNS for the server with that IP Address. The workstations on the internal network try to access the server and it's a 50/50 as to which IP Address DNS gives them for the server. I end up having to delete the second dns entry for the server with the vpn client'S IP. Thanks for any assistance, John |
