We are going to change ISP's. Other than the DNS entries themselves what
items in Windows should we maintain? DNS root hints? How do these get populated? dns cache on the dns servers? etc. Thanks. |

Root hints should not need to be changed, these are the root servers out on the internet, I would think the only thing you need to change is the forwarder to the new ISP's DNS server But it all depends on your configuration! Yuo don't state if it is an AD integrated zone etc |

It is an AD integrated zone. We forward from the child to the parent domain
