Hi,
I made sites in IIS and that runs well (with ASP.NET 1.1) IIS version 6, when i enter the site i have to enter http://computername:siteport Or http://IPaddress:port (with this i can access my site from any location world wide) now i want to make a domain (www.mydomain.com) with IIS or DNS I really don't know how to do that and Microsoft doesn't have any thing like that in it's technet site any ideas ? Press this and add as many combinations of IP + DNS Name + Port number as make sense. Usually we add Domain.com and www.MyDomain.Com for those that are on the Public Internet (and the corresponding DNS names too.) > any ideas ? > Omar Abid > www.omarabid.uni.cc -- Herb Martin, MCSE, MVP http://www.LearnQuick.Com (phone on web site) If you use LinkedIn then tell me where you know me from when linking: http://www.linkedin.com/in/herbmartin |
