I've run into a problem in DNS I've never seen before and I am hoping someone
has seen this before. We have a few wireless devices which are registered in DNS. These devices were recently added to our system. Everything appears to work fine, however, when we go into the reverse lookup there are entries for these wireless devices with incorrect IP's. There are also reverse lookup entries with the correct IP's. We deleted the incorrect entries several times but they continue to come back. Any ideas? |

Hello,
Try the command DNSCMD to delete the entries from the reverse lookup zones. Sample Usage dnscmd /recorddelete test.contoso.com test MX 10 mailserver.test.contoso.com You can view the complete details about the same on the following link. http://technet2.microsoft.com/window....mspx?mfr=true -- KubeMates MCP,CCNA Lead Infrastructure Engineer "Pigskin" wrote: > I've run into a problem in DNS I've never seen before and I am hoping someone > has seen this before. > We have a few wireless devices which are registered in DNS. Is there anyway to trace where the registration is coming from?
